Besides all that tip’s from the last post, a good tool to create cocktails is play with templates.
Here’s my last take on the vermuth golden ratio.
Bounty of the Hunt
- 1,5oz Gin (Tanqueray N°TEN)
- 0,75oz Bianco Vermuth (Martini & Rossi)
- 0,25oz Jägermeister
- 1ds Orange bitters (Angostura)
Stir and strain into a chilled cocktail glass, garnish with a big orange zest with a clown in it.
That was good, the Jäger gave it a bright gold color and played nicely on the after taste, the orange bitters gave it a nice citrus touch and the drink wasn’t overly sweet.
